Hi Veronika, I enjoy reading your blog for a long while. I would love to relocate to Vancouver working in the apparel / textile industry. Can you give me some hints for that project (not very much, just a little email, maybe....?)

1) It's a tough nut to crack. Don't move here unless you have a job lined up.
2) It takes at least a year (or three in my case) to get used to the 8 months of rain,
3) It's brilliant when it's beautiful
4) Not everyone smokes pot, but a lot of people do. It's not that they are unfriendly...they are often just stoned and can't remember meeting you.
5) You WILL do yoga eventually, but you DON'T have to wear yoga pants in public.
6) There is a lot of talent here.
